No doubt if a team goes long all game, there she pops with some sort of mathematical equation to it all. Just the TV companies somehow justifying it all. Football is a simple game, don’t over complicate it.

Personally I thought the bit she did in the England game breaking down the three pronged passing options for one of the England goals was far more interesting than anything that Keane, Neville or Wright offered.
I suspect a lot of people are offended by her because of her gender, accent and appearance rather than because of what she says.

I think she nčeds to tailor her analysis to the audience watching, modern day coach speak to make you sound more intelligent is a bit over the top for the majority of a tv audience. I have been in around football for over 60 years and I couldn't really work out what she was getting at. Keep it simple. ITV have hung her out to dry, with that set and a blackboard, have they not seen Sky with touch screens ect? But, she signed the contract.

She is a highly successful manager so clearly she has a better understanding of tactics than anyone on this board. The problem is though is that she presents as though she is conducting a UEFA B coaching course.
I'd like to think I have an okish understanding of tactics but she totally loses me with her terminology.
I do quite like her but she probably needs to dumb down her style a bit.

I’d take Hayes over most co-comms. Dixon and Murphy in particular are shockingly poor. Funnily enough, our old pro Andros Townsend is the best, but that’s very World’s Tallest Dwarf. At least Hayes talks about the game, rather than banter bollocks.

She provided an alternative view and it was good to see a change from the usual suspects.
I would personally love to see Hayes manage in the EFL in the future. It would be fascinating and I really think she would do an excellent job.
The abuse she is getting today online from the usual agitators is disturbing and says a lot about ‘are’ country.
