I'm sure he'll have offers from the Championship, and transfers will be delayed at that level because of the World Cup.
Sheffield United paid actual money for McGuinness and Chong last year, someone will definitely snap up Adebayo on a free so long as he can pass a medical.

My guess is that the injury is a blocker in terms of signing any deal, not just with us but for any club. We normally jump at the chance of signing a perennially injured player but the board might have had their fingers burnt once too often.

Hopefully he settles well and feels je owes the team, I'm sure some kind of deal is on the table. I would imagine he quite well funded currently from his historic contract
