    Hatters Heritage - On this day

    3 players have been born on this day.

    The first was Magnus Nicholson, who was born in 1871 and played 11 games for the Town between Oct 1894 and Oct 1895. The next was Gordon Wilson, who was born in 1904 and played 7 games in season 1931 - 32.

    The last player will be more familiar to Hatters fans and he is Russell Perrett, who was born at Barton-on-Sea (rather than Le-Clay) in 1973. He played 109 games for the club between 2001-2007 and was part of our Division Three (now League Two) promotion winning team from 2002 and our League One Champion winning side of 2004. Following his retirement he became a publican.
