This could be an unpopular opinion, but Shearer's co-commentary is driving me nuts.
He does his usual literal recap of what we've all just seen for ourselves but now he's combining it with a manufactured breathless excitement. I had to switch off the France game, he was doing my head in.

Beyond awful. Boring as dishwasher, puts on a weird gravelly voice in the vain attempt to sound interesting but just ends up coming across as an even bigger clown.
