I'm unable to deposit GBP from a Barclays bank account into my Kraken account. The manual bank transfer option simply doesn't have an option to proceed. The. FPS option doesn't complete after getting as far logging into the Barclays banking app, it returns an error message OBA19 unable to complete. Tried adding my Barclays debit card but that also fails.
Have contacted Barclays and they say they haven't blocked anything.
Kraken support is shite, just keeps directing me to pages saying all the methods I have already tried work, but they clearly don't.
Anyone know what the issue is?

I've got 2.5 Dot I want to swap for XRP in my cold wallet but the minimum amount to swap is 8 Dot. So I'm going to buy £10 worth on Kraken (if I can work out how to deposit GBP in there) and then send it to my cold wallet and do the swap.
It's literally just a few quid. I'm just irritated at how problematic such a seemingly straight forward action is proving to be! It's also a bit alarming as I am planning to use Kraken in the future when I plan to cash out. Making me wonder if withdrawing GBP is also going to be a ball ache? Tried the Barclaycard as well but Barclaycard blocked it, they don't allow it. Pain in the arse. Crypto's all going to be regulated in late 2027 so hopefully this sort of nonsense will be a thing of the past by then. Well it's gambling at the end of the day. As long as you understand that and only gamble what you are happy to lose it's fine.
None of that solves my current problem though. I don't want to use Revolut. I want to use Barclays which should be possible according to Kraken's own website. I deposited a small amount as a test via Coinbase. Complete waste of time and lost about 75% of the initial deposit. Live justly, love mercy, perpetuate generosity, walk humbly.
Yeah I had another crypto account called Uphold. Used it to test withdrawing GBP and it didn't work so I used it to buy some crypto instead. Forgot about it. Went back to it later and it had quadrupled so sent it to Kraken and converted it to GBP and managed to withdraw that to my Barclays account. That was back in October. So I know it works for withdrawing GBP to Barclays. The problem I am having now is I can't seem to go the other way and deposit GBP from Barclays.
