    After a 2 day absence with no matches, debuts or players being born on 12th and 13th June there are 3 players who have been born today.

    The first was Abraham Wales in 1874, who played only one game for the club away at Crystal Palace on 19th February 1906.

    The next was Jock Finlayson who was born in 1912 and played for the Hatters between Sept 1935 and the outbreak of the Second World War. Unusually, and possibly uniquely amongst our ex players, he was to become a professional golfer after the end of his professional football career.

    The final player to be born on this day was Richard Dryden who was born in 1969 and played for the Town between Feb 2001 and Jan 2012.

        Great shout. Roy did indeed qualify for the European tour of the Alfred Dunhill European tour in 2002.

        That should say Jan 2002, not 2012, for Richard Dryden.
