Kevin Bridges: In Search Of The Beautiful Game

Thoroughly recommend this, on iPlayer - Kevin Bridges tries to see if the soul of football still exists, or if Fifa have ruined it.
Obviously funny at times, and some unexpectedly moving sections too. Great one-off show.

Good shot. I'll watch that later.

Yes, they could probably have shortened it by 15 minutes, but just as Earls described it,

What would you have left out? I was pleasantly surprised they didn’t try to turn it into a 2/3-parter - there could potentially have been more on the States’ relationship with football, for example.

I would probably have dropped a bit of the beach stuff. The embarrassed boss in the cafe. Another bit that I don't remember, but do remember thinking "get on with it".
Having said that, it was really nice that both he and McGinn clearly knew the girl at the counter and loved their roots. Loved the idea of visiting Cafu at his house and having a kick about in his garden.
