I don`t think that was the point. Banknotes change every so often (not sure many people use them regularly now anyway). But the whole trump/musk, adopted by farage fascism thing is rearing its head.
You have to look at what trump has done in america - arrestig judges, shutting down the medai (well in interviews) , not providing information (see bbc court case). Many more examples. Then you have to look at farage trying to use some of the same tactics. Much lesser scale of course but a case of know your history. Its more relevant to trump . But farage has learnt from trump
I think Reform have signalled they intend an authoritarian regime and have shown how they plan to do it, in pretty much plain sight.
"Activist judges" says Zia . . . can't be allowed to get in the government's way he reckons. It's only one signal but it's one of the most blatant.

Zia has a lot to say for himself for someone who has never even stood for parliment. When jenrick said mass deportation was not a plan, zia came on after and said "yes it is - i`ll be home secretary not him". Zia is actually the openly nastiest side of reform. The irony being if he stood for leader he would lose a serious amount of votes
