    Squad updated...

    GK: Keeley, Shea
DEF: Mengi, Andersen, Naismith, Odoffin, Makosso, Holmes, Walters
MID: Clark, Jones, Saville, Baptiste, Morris, Sandal, Kodua, Walsh
ATT: Wells, Alli, Cole, Woodrow, Yates, Archer, Lynch, Nordas

23 in total. If we add Palmer (please) , Elijah and that bolton defender thats 26. 4 over the limit.

Defender wise: losing Holmes is a given one way or the other. Maksosso and Walters likely. Mengi may be a case of cashing in as surely in his last year (but he does seem to have got over his sulk) so -3 or -4 there

Midfield wise: Baptise - but you cant move on a crock under contract. Jones - well would need a decent offer, so probably none here

Attackers- could see everyone apart from Wells going. MAybe have a look at Lynch pre season. Archer possible as well. Cole a case of wait and see. so -4 there (i wouldn't be averse to seeing Nordas stay)

So minimum of 7 out - 3 in apart from the ones mentioned? Suspect it will be more than that though.

Yes I`m aware its a slight rehash of last nights post, but that was pre walsh signing

Reckon we can offload Alli, Yates, Nordas, Woodrow, Holmes and
      Makosso

I’d cash in on Mengi if we can although his injury record is now looking pretty sketchy.

I fear we are stuck with Cole.

Lynch is a big strong promising centre forward who did well in the second half of the season for Tamworth - but I don’t think he’s going to be ready for League One. A loan to a League Two club would be good.

Midfield is seriously strong on paper (more so with Richard as an under 21). Sign Palmer and nothing more needed (although we are linked with ocoonel from barnsley)

Defence needs a right back. MAybe a LB (JJ?) or a LWB.

Up front we really need something. And I don`t want to rely on an 17 years old , no matter how many goals he scored!

            Agreed.
Sign Palmer and midfield looks very strong for League 1.
Also agreed on right back and a LWB (who can also defend !).
Up front, we have several who frankly don't belong here. Yates, Woodrow, Cole (though I fear we are stuck) plus Wells will struggle more and more.
I honestly think we should keep Nordas, sign Elijah, keep a kid such a Lynch and sign a couple more (perhaps a Young Arsenal loanee !) plus 1 and we'll be in good shape.

Woodrow did quite well for Wycombe, but dont think he fits in our formation. Wells had a poor season by his previous standards - i think he wil have a better one and Agreed. I`d keep jordas but jack wont and if we get money back all good. Lynch no takes up a squad space. Numbers game. Elijah. fingers cross we keep him. If he gets his fitness back a big player. Plus a better focal point than Wells
