I'm quite surprised at how many people didn't go to high school in Luton.

I know there's a couple of people on here who grew up outside Luton but didn't realise it was that many.

Just for my own curiosity another poll.

outlaws is not the barometer of sanity. You're either Luton full tilt or you are nothing. We have spunked way too much money on shite. The end.

It's well known on here that I grew up in Derbyshire and my secondary school was in Ashbourne. My dad went to high school in Luton though but can't remember which one.

A very large part of Luton's support has come from outside the town for a very long time now

My Dad went to the Luton grammar school though.

Legend of Outlaws

My elder brother went to Dunstable Grammar when we lived in Luton, but had to change to Luton Grammar when we moved to Barton. A few years later, Luton became a County Borough, and stopped taking 11+ passers from outside Luton, so all the "village 11+ passers had to go to Dunstable! Crazy!!!!

My bad, I think it was actually Dunstable grammar, not Luton.

I was at DGS 1963-68.

3 grammar schools back then in Dunstable. DGS for boys, Queen Eleanors for girls, Kingsbury mixed.

The Kingsbury & QE buildings now accomodate Queensbury.
