Was some whinge after losing in 87 at Luton though!

What a lot of people probably don't realise is that his son had a trial with us in 2002 and played a couple of PSFs - he then signed for Blackpool and scored against us in the first away game of the season on a Tuesday night when we lost 5-2.

I remember breaking a seat at that Blackpool game! Bloomfield Road was being redeveloped (still is!!!!) andvswat fans were put in the seats behind the goal in the old home end opposite the top.

Yes, that was when we were in the temporary stand down the side. Another game fairly early on in the season when we won 1-3 (Brko x2 and Stevo i believe). Another game I was at too! From memory, we'd just gone 1-2 up and because of a lot of rain in previous weeks the wooden temporary flooring gave way during the celebration. Police moved loads of fans from that area along pitch side closer to the old kop end in a new stand full of home supporters who looked on horrified that they thought a load of Luton fans were about to invade their stand for a punch up.

I know we like to joke about 87 and the pies but I have nothing but admiration for his dedication to Liverpool FC and especially the way he supported the families of Hillsborough. I really hope he makes a full recovery.

outlaws is not the barometer of sanity. You're either Luton full tilt or you are nothing. We have spunked way too much money on shite. The end.
