Only 1 match played today and that was 60 years ago, in 1966, when we lost 3-1 away at Newport County in the Fourth Division.
5 players have been born today with the first being Ron Davies in 1942. His goalscoring record with the Hatters (21 goals in 33 matches) make him one of the deadliest strikers ever to play for the Town.
The next player was Graham Caleb (born in 1945) and then Emeka Nwajiobi (born in 1959).
The last two players were both strikers who, unlike the first player to be born on this day, did not enjoy the successful careers as goal scorers with the Hatters that they and fans might have anticipated and hoped for. These two players were Paul Peschisolido (born in 1971) and Adam Boyd (born in 1982).
