Another twist, as it is now being reported that Hulls lawyers are examining whether there should even be a play off final. They want to argue that the semis were played, and now Southampton have been disqualified, no actual final is necessary, and they should automatically be promoted

This could go on forever

If the final is to be cancelled, surely the fairest way to decide the last promotion place would be to see which team came third after 46 matches and disregard any post-season results.
