Only one game played today and that is a match I would rather forget.
The match in question took place 14 years ago today, in 2012 and we lost 2-1 in the Conference Final at Wembley to York City. After taking an early lead in the 2nd minute of the game, with a goal by Andre Gray, we played poorly for the rest of the game and conceded an equaliser mid way through the first half. A clearly offside goal 2 minutes after halftime then sealed our fate.
3 players have been born on this day. The first was George Kidd in 1909, then Ian Feuer in 1971 and finally David Livermore in 1980.
With only the Conference Final having taken place it shouldn’t come as any surprise that no player has made their debut on this day.
