Sergej Jakirovic says an announcement tomorrow barely gives Hull City 48 hrs to spy on any potential opposition training.

Surely, the final can't go ahead on Saturday. There will probably be an appeal by either Southampton or Middlesbrough. Even if not, there isn't time to sell tickets and arrange travel.

Issue is. Wembley is fully booked up , there’s not a spare date available

So they can't kick a team out, replace them with another team and then let said team sell tickets and arrange travel in that short space of time surely? It'll be a big fine, and/or points deduction for next season.

Boro can't appeal as the action has been brought by the EFL. The BBC article goes into the details and possible repurcussions quite well.
