They pay £2.5 million per year on a 99 year lease. They don't get the income from food and drink sales in the stadium.
Rates of £2 million are included in what they pay!
It should never have been converted from what it was built for.

Apparently that is just a online myth. Spurs actually make more money from in stadium food and merch sales than any other club in the world.Roughly 800K per match. When the NFL play they earn even more

Having said that, I've just seen West Ham's current rent quoted at £4.4 million which is different to what I read the other day.
