Some may find these differences of interest:
Bolton: west side of stadium. Full allocation of over 36k taken up straight away. Ticket transaction charge £3 per ticket!
Stockport: east side of stadium. Initial allocation of 22k but allowed up to just over 36k if demand requires. Ticket transaction fee of £0.90 per ticket.Live justly, love mercy, perpetuate generosity, walk humbly.

Hull are charging £70 for coach travel to Wembley
Last season we charged £34 (£31 concession) for the game at Hull.
Tiger Travel
Once you have purchased your tickets you can also purchase Tiger Travel tickets through the eticketing.co.uk/wearehullcity website or over the phone and in Person from the MKM Stadium Ticket Office. Tiger Travel must be purchased separately from your matchday ticket and will cost £70.00 per person leaving the MKM Stadium at 8:30 AM
Where possible, we highly recommend travelling to Wembley Stadium via organised coach travel.

Does the ticket transaction charge go to the clubs, who set this charge, or does it go to the ticketing company and if so, why is there a difference? The stronger the team, the stronger the team.
I don't know, but I found that odd. Any additional additional fees I find, frankly, unacceptable. There's just no need for it. There are other ways where a 3rd party ticketing company can make their money without additional, unnecessary charges to standard ticket prices which are already pricey. I hate booking fees but how does a company like Ticketmaster cover its running costs and make a profit - what are the other ways that you refer to. The alternative is that the venue pays Ticketmaster and increases the ticket prices (probably by £5)
I'm not an economics expert but someone like ticketmaster must have alternative revenue streams. After all they had enough money to initially invest to create the company in the first place sonit wouldn't be unreasonable to assume they have investors who probably play on the stock exchange etc.Live justly, love mercy, perpetuate generosity, walk humbly.
I don't see that logic at all - they have set up a company that provides a service that people need and charge a fee for providing that service. Using your logic, why does any business need to charge its customers?
Using your own situation - why do churches have a collection when the Church of England has billions of pounds.
