Don't think they are paying creditors in full, so surely they've got away with what we were punished 20 points for?
The footballing authorities seem to pick and choose who they wish to punish. For Wednesday it’s a case of hasn’t this great big traditional club with a loyal fanbase been punished enough. Their fans don’t suffer anymore than any other club that has found themselves in similar situations. Of course it’s not the fans that should be punished but the same rules should apply to all until the FRA get their act together.

I think it's basically because Chansiri refused to respond to any communication from the new consortium/owner, and was making ridiculous demands, so it became almost impossible to get things in order. So it was in some ways exceptional circumstances.
I'd say our circumstances were exceptional, too, and no doubt the FL and FA fucked us, but I don't really begrudge SWFC a season starting afresh, without another season of struggle. Even though it's not great for us.
I don't think De Marco's star is as high as it was.
He got Leicester off a points deduction on a technicality when they were first relegated from the PL, which enraged the authorities and indirectly led to the multiple points deductions which see them in L1 next season.
Strangely his fan club on the Price of Football went very quiet on his role in the Leicester case when it went tits up, having lauded his genius when they avoided the penalty before. If they’d taken their medicine when they originally should’ve done I bet they wouldn’t be heading for Div 3 now …..
