Nice chap too, a few of us bumped into him at the old (expensive) bar at Manchester Victoria on the way to a game and exchanged moans about the price of a pint.

RIP. Very sad, still quite young (66). Did lots of good stuff (not only DJing) over the years, was one of the few music broadcasters John Peel got on well with.
