Getting more common these days - you can opt out of communication about a certain thing, in this case Father's Day. People could have various reasons for doing so, such as a difficult relationship with a family member, or a bereavement.

I've always thought Father's Day was invented by the greeting card industry to make more profit following Mothering Sunday.

Ah, apologies, I didn't realise it was accessible from the home page. Yes, it should just be a hidden page, accessible only via a direct link when required.
