Our C1 is still low mileage but after my full house refurbishment is finished this week, a car is next on the list.

We have an electric car and yes home charging is considerably cheaper, but charging at a service station is still a rip off and as expensive as a full tank, and `Carlisle Wembley likely to need 2 top up charges.

I worked for a car delivery firm up here ,the E charging enroute was a bit of a mare

Buying electric charge is the same as buying petrol / diesel if it's a fast charge, agreed. But with very little planning you realistically will only charge in expensive public locations a handful of times a year (although living in a geographical outpost like Carlisle might mean it's more frequent admittedly).

The truth is simple. If it was complicated, everyone would understand it.
