His partner has just posted that they have lost their baby during pregnancy.

Explains why he missed the last game.

I take back thinking he was rested and Crumpsall was right about possibly being something else. Respect.

                  Desperately sad.

Been there myself and it's not pleasant. Definitely the worst thing that's happened to my partner and I. All the best to Liam and his family.

It happened to us 3 times. The first time was a real shock, mainly due to the circumstances. That was before we, eventually, had kids too. It was awful

Don't want this to be about me though. It was a long time ago. Thoughts with Walsh and his partner

Same as you HH, been there too! Horrible time but we came through it and were lucky enough to have two beautiful children after....Hope the same for you HH and for Liam and anyone else that's been in that situation.
Life is precious and sometimes we forget! Put a side religion and politics, were all trying to do he same thing for our families and loved ones and give them the best we can. Football not that important when it comes down to it!

Thanks Macca, appreciate that. Glad you and the family also got through it. 🧡

Ours was a very late miscarriage and although it wouldn't have been our first child, it was still tough. We were lucky afterwards with more kids but it never really leaves you.

It’s more common than people think as well, just not something many talk about. Dead babies is a bit of a conversation killer!

Due in September, I believe. They only announced it earlier this month. She was still playing in January.

Still very sad at any stage.

That's desperately sad. You'd hope that some would reign in their opinions.

My mum lost twice during pregnancy. From the minimal chances that any of us are here, wouldn't it be good, and a fitting message to Liam, that we support our players, that we know they want to win as much as we do, that our players are actually human, same as the rest of us?

That is awful. But maybe a wake up call for some. Football is just a game and/or a hobby. Real people with real families playing.
