    Near on 30k sold. But seems to have stalled now. A really good showing considering all what's gone on this season.

            Wasn't nearer 45k?

            I believe Wolves gold the record for most official fans* at any Wembley final in 1988 for this very same competition (Sherpa Van as it was back then) against Burnley. I think I've heard the figure of 58k being mentioned.


            *sold through official sources as opposed to general sources. Liverpool probably had avout 60k in 1988 against Wimbledon but only had the standard approx 35k allocation.
