If anything he leant towards the defender and crumbled in front of him.
I had no volume and at first I thought he was booking Jones.

double jeopardy rule, if you go go for the ball, its a penalty but no red, outside the box it would have been a free kick and a red. Truth seeker / snide
I can't argue, I said for years that's how it should be. In my view, if you give away a penalty you have not "denied a clear goalscoring opportunity", or, if we say you have, you have given the opposition one in its place.
Yep. It’s a nonsense that players can’t have their arms by their side. The hands-behind-their-back necessity because of what the handball law has become is much more of an unnatural position than having the arms hang naturally.
