I am sorry but if he picks the team including subs, and then at half time , decides to put a player on that he hasnt selected , then there is no excuse. It is HIS fault.

I honestly can't believe that some of our supporters scoff at the chance to progress in a cup competition. Look how well we played against Exeter, and in patches against Swindon. Apart from two defensive lapses we were by far the better team.

I want us to win every game, and I want us to go as far as possible in every cup competition.

Agree, I want a day out at Wembley, sod Swindon, we know as much as anyone about unfairness.

Swindon need to own this.

I thought a few days ago that we shouldn't fight the Drinan issue. We were shite. Swindon deserved to win.

If they have two ineligible players, that's really poor and we should fight it. And goes beyond a general fuk up.

It sounds like 'Olly wants to pin blame on the Club Secretary. Frankly she is ultimately responsible, but surely there is some kind of collective responsibility - at least in public.

They were either unaware of what they were doing, in which case they were incompetent, or they were aware of it, in which case they were deliberately cheating. If the latter, they should be thrown out of the competition and the individuals responsible penalised. I can't believe that a professional football club would be so incompetent. One player, maybe, but two in the same game? Nah.

It may have been an admin error but its against the rules.That club broke the rule, there has to be a consequence for that.
It's either they get fined, a replay or we go through.

How is a fine a fair l punishment when their actions meant a stronger team and hence victory.

It’s gaining unfair advantage.

Clubs will do again unless they kicked out AND fined heavily.

There is no mitigation (in my view) on the second charge because he was banned for such a heinous offence. And captained the side on the night.

And surely the player should know himself?

Yet Olly is now questioning the validity of the process that banned him à la Lucy Connolly.

The bloke is turning into a bit of an ignoramus.

I think all this hoping they kicked out is a bit classless.
We should be better than that after what we have had thrown at us in the past.

I am not hoping they get kicked out, not really that fussed, but you can't just play ineligible players and get no real punishment. How does that stop anyone doing the same in future, playing suspended,ineligible or unregistered players, there has to be rules, to some clubs it may be worth the fine?
I don't really get the different rules for different competitions, seems to just confuse the issue although no name on the teamsheet seems as clear as it gets.
