For us to sit for the majority of the next 5 seasons?Storms grow champions!
As the Premier League is. like the Reform Party, chock full of absolute c**ts, The Championship I would imagine for most people.

I know I am in the minority (no change there on this board 😂 but I really enjoyed the Premiershite…not sure if it was about expectations being low but I have some great memories from that season. One of them is really odd….last 20 mins against Chelsea at home…Chong & Alfie tearing them apart….wonderful attacking football. Promotion season to prem was also great ….
Happily never go near it again. Chelsea was ok but my overriding memory was terrible away fans (except for Man City strangely), dreadful corporate away days, Villa Park was actually grim and VAR.
Everton at home was dreadful, a penalty given, no one in the ground knew what was happening, a mate watching it 500 miles away was telling me from his living room.
If we ever got back there I doubt I'd be arsed with it, although I'd say I'm safe enough for a while. If I grew up on a farm, and was retarded, Bruges might impress me but I didn't, so it doesn't.
That's actually the memory I go back to most from that season. Chelsea didn't do that much in terms of creating chances to go 3-0 up but they took them with a bit of class.
Then to see our team literally tear that multi-billion pound squad apart in one of the most dominant twenty minutes you will ever see was fabulous! They were more than lucky to escape with the win.
I remember that last 20 minutes, hit the bar I think. The football was undoubtedly high class, but VAR destroys enjoyment for fans attending matches, and in many cases we couldn’t get near the stadiums for a pre match pint. Add to that the feeing that it was all about money rather than football and it tainted it a bit

I want us to be as successful as possible, without bankrupting the club whilst the new stadium is being constructed.
There have plainly been some utter fuck ups but we are where we are. I just want the football, and the experience,to be more enjoyable as I find it as dull as fuck largely.
