A perfect example of us under Wilshere

70 percent possession, mostly pointless. We create almost nothing. We look dangerous in wide areas, thought we did ok tonight, but final ball is almost always crap. On the odd occasion it isn't, we don't have anyone bar Yates in the box. And he'd probably still miss with a free header from 2 yards out If he could be actually bothered to move.
Almost forgot, we concede from both shots the opposition can muster the entire game.

Yet, whenever we've gone a little more direct and aggressive, we've looked alright

Don't mind occasionally being patient like that but Wilshere has got to mix it up. Another case of a manager being totally obsessed with one way of playing

Tbf he has inherited a shit squad…having said that anyone with half a brain cell knew that.
What we needed was a hard working , nasty git like Tony Pulis. We could have gone for Ian Holloway who has turned a bottom club into one looking like it will get promoted ( he has no money and a bang average squad).
Instead we tried to be clever and give a young ex player who has never managed the job…fucking genius.
Imagine that crowd tonight in Power Court….they could have had a row each !!!

bit unfair - yes we are still pretty shit but I do see signs of improvement. However we have no quality attacking players it seems. The club is obsessed is signing young wingers - how many fucking young wingers do we need?

            True.

About time we prioritise some strikers and central midfielders that can affect the game!

                You think?

I don't think we have the players to play out from the back. Countless times tonight they're knocking around the back, miscontroling it and giving it away in really dangerous areas. Better teams might have spanked us.

Walters is such an odd one in that respect.

He was so highly rated at Arsenal so you would have thought he would have been ok at this. But he seems inept. And it's been so long now, it's hard to say it's just a temporary blip. Just nothing there resembling a player worth preserving with.

Some of our younger signings have been decent but he's been yet another failure of recruitment

Been injured loads and when he plays looks nowhere near a football league footballer

                    worse teams already have
