… watching Hitchin play Stotfold, great attacking play from Hitchin, no diving, “ no drawing the foul”… ref who let the game flow, good crowd.
No dull pedestrian football with sideways and backwards play….
A lot to be said for non league..

Watched some of Celtic v Rangers this morning, the pace and urgency of the game was unreal, defences being pulled all over the place, the speed and movement was completely the opposite to the slow, predictable, pedestrian and easy to defend against i watched on NYD.

Amazing crowd of 1499 turned up to watch it, as well. Double Hitchin’s previous best gate of the season.

Yeah Ref give a couple of absolute howlers against them, including a real dodgy sending off at the end, but Hitchin outplayed them as regards football.
