Our crossing

Generally seems to be based upon hit and hope rather than picking someone out. I wish we would improve this side of our game. It does of course rely on one or two players actually being in good positions to receive the ball, which they rarely are, so perhaps that is the main problem?outlaws is not the barometer of sanity.

It’s the latter, imo. I know the criticism of Yateswells has been done to death, but they and Brown are never in a good position. It’s weird this stretches back to Morris rarely being in the box last season too, but - for all his many misses last season - Adebayo is the last striker to consistently be in the box to receive a cross.

It was poor today but generally it's been very good Bramall and Morris have both been sticking in good crosses game after game. We just have a selection of forwards who have no idea how to make runs into the box
