    Red card shout

Seemed some HTFC fans are saying we should have had someone sent off?

Was at the game and didn't see anything?

We should have had a penalty though ffs

Don’t know why Hitchin Town fans are wanted a Luton player sent off.

They were bleating handball about a shot that Longwyk blocked 8 yards out when Keeley was out of position. Maybe that?

I was right behind the goal and it was a pen, tbh, but so was the blatant pull on Mengi in the second half, so it evens out.

              Yes that's the one.

Ref was genuinely shit all night to be honest.

He was but that Longwyk one would have been pretty harsh if given, admittedly from the other end, but his army looked very close to his side to me.

Always good to have an army by your side!

Ref was diabolical and let so many shirt pulls, pushes, blocks etc go scot free. At the time I fully expected it to be a penalty.

Also, in the second half, we were playing down near the right corner and someone chipped a ball through but none of our players read it and it went out for a goal kick - but the lino gave a corner!!!!

I don't mind refs like that, who let some physical contact take place, it added to what was a good free flowing game.
Better than refs who blow for the tiniest touch on someone.

I agree to an extent but when players are getting away with blatant shirt pulls that are stopping them playing the ball, then it is a free kick. It is, afterall, a contact sport but there's contact and physical abuse and their two centre halves were big, ugly, and certainly threw their weight around. To be honest, the sort of centre halves we could do with.

Not an elbow. May have been a finger in the eye. No intent, no foul, no card, ref got it right.
