Recruitment has been poor, but Tracy only joined us this Summer, I doubt he had a lot of influence over all this summer’s signings. Mooney has nothing to do with identifying players.

Being part of the senior team, Mooney will have a role to play in helping set a culture, identity and direction at the club. Helping devise a plan and then acting on it

Or, at least, he should be

He joined in May 2023. We have lost lots of football matches since he turned up. Could be coincidence. Could be something else

Agree to an extent, but he has no influence over identifying players and once they’re signed the culture & attitude will be the management team’s responsibility to ensure it’s done. My point is, nobody can deny recruitment has been poor, but Tracy and especially Mooney don’t deserve having a pop at.
We’re hurting, but there’s no point having a go at the wrong people.

            I agree about Tracy

I don't agree on Mooney. I'm afraid that's the trouble at this club for 2 years - too many excuses for failure. No-one grabbing things by the scruff of the neck, owning it and fixing it. No accountability taken by anybody. No change

You’re not wrong, but absolutely nothing can excuse the fucking shameless lack of cojones, effort and professional pride on show today.

        As a one-off it’d be totally unacceptable, but it’s a monthly occurrence.

Surely to god no-one applauded them at the end ……

You're completely correct, of course, but the seeds of this have been sown throughout the club. The whole set up has been failing and has led us to today

Radical change is required at all levels but it won't happen

True, but it’s far too easy a cop-out for the shower of shite on the pitch to use it as an excuse.

              Oh, yes, I agree

And those in important positions at the club contributed, to a greater or lesser degree, in recruiting this mentally and physically weak-as-piss shambles of a squad
