While Evans is rightly getting all the headlines, a word of praise too for Harry Fox, the left-back who played the second half. He looked great going forward and played a couple of lovely passes to Alli down the touchline.

And Pelé won the World Cup at 17, but i don't believe Evans or Fox are/will be in the same class as our manager and Pelé.

Yes, exactly that, neither looked ready for the first team to me but both showed some really good touches and what an amazing chance for them to gain some useful experience this early in their careers.

Maybe Fox did but Evans got mugged three of four times by their strikers, a couple of times in dangerous positions.
Good experience for him.

Fair enough. We did concede a few chances, but I hadn’t spotted that it was Evans at fault. I did think Shea was very, er, shaky.

If Nakamba was doing his job instead of strolling round like an OAP the boy Evans wouldn't have been put under that pressure IMO.

He was a bit but to be fair he hasn't played much first team football for a while. He certainly didn't look up to his old standards.
