Pretty sure you will find the scouts had nothing to do with that one, more an agent looking to get him more money and regular championship football.

I think this is generally misunderstood amongst the fanbase
In his recent interview, Sweet was talking about having to take chances with players over the years. Sometimes it's with injury prone players we would never had got otherwise- Doughty or Burke or Morris - without taking that risk. In Jones' case, there were some personal problems reported that meant he wasn't playing as much as he should have been
When their strategy works they should take the credit. Long way to go in Jones' case but he is obviously a good player for L1

If you look at Jones career. He’s been fairly durable and played a lot of games. Baptiste however. You can tell by his record he’s made of weetabix.

I mean I think he could be a good player for us but not sure I would go overboard on the basis of a few good moments - he has not played that much and when he has he has been hot and cold. I would like him to get up to speed with a good run of games here and then hopefully we can sell on in the summer
