Who is on your wish list next transfer window?

Posted by Poster from the past on 25/10/2025, 16:32:42

Josh Sargent - expensive but proven goal scorer
Bobby Pointon - young, lots of potential for an attack minded team

Jack Stacey - come home Jack, Norwich are doomed

Jack Stacey would be a quality signing.

        Unfortunately it won't happen

          Yet another assist today.

We should have signed him in August.

I am surprised your keyboard works with all the dribble that must be coming out of your mouth, in what world would someone in the championship with a half decent scoring record on a decent wage and in a season going into the world cup join a smaller club than the one he is at in a worse position?.

You say that but look at how much money we've wasted on dross. Must be getting on for £20m. Time to go for quality rather than quantity. One decent striker and we get promoted.

            From Wiki on Pointon

Bradford fans were saying earlier this season Pointon was gutted Wells didn't play that fixture.
We've all been gutted about the ones he has played.
I don't see Pointon leaving his home club whilst they're flying.

Unfortunately our days of big spending/decent wages are over until the new ground.

I suspect there are still a few in the current squad on wages that are well above what we can sustain.

I like Poster in the Past but there is no way that we would be in the market for the three players he highlighted. Shame because I agree with him, very decent players

We definitely need some quality signings but to attract them we would need to be at the top or thereabouts. My concern would be that if we were promoted ( I know) would we spend big because we would probably need a LOT of quality players. No offence to some of the current squad but most wouldn't be able to play in the Championship going if this season is anything to go by.

However, there is still a long time to go this season to prove themselves.

We are an average league 1 team, please come up with some realistic options
