I don't think fans were particularly not on board with the Bloomfield appt at the time, but no wins in his first 8 games meant he never really got the fans on board.

I don't think we got behind him too much. Comments like "Good manager, but the wrong time", and "We need an experienced manager to get us out of this then reappoint in the summer" was what I was hearing. Not exactly what I call getting behind Bloomfield.COYH
