Stumbled across this fascinating video on YouTube. Particuly interesting if you have an enjoyment of railways and/or electrics.
I suspect my dad would have known some of the people in this film. He actually worked on the section south of this one. Willesden to Bletchley. I was in the Willesden signal box a few times and it was quite fascinating seeing how advanced it all was. (Not that I understood anything) Before we moved to England, I had only seen small boxes with the lever system. The railway was part of my playground in the early sixties. Don't go mistaking paradise, for that home across the road....
