It's been two years since he has played. You have no idea if he is the player he was when he collapsed. Had we signed him and he'd sat on the sidelines for 2 months getting back up to speed, there would have been help to pay on here.

For fcuks sake he has basically had 2 heart attacks and a broken ankle, his playing career is done and it would appear that only he and a few dimwits on here can’t accept it! I for one will miss seeing him never play for us ever again but let’s be realistic here. Thank you for your service but the club comes first and foremost. It is a shame he could not take up a coaching role with us and hopefully he will return in the future but, it’s time to move on.

He is just what we need NOW even if he cannot play for a couple of months his influence would be immense. It would also have made our defenders more wary of losing their place and made them improve fast. I for one am very sorry he is going.
