Is it the players or the club?

yeah i know. tinpot trophy. no manager. so a free hit blah blah

But we started the season looking really solid in defence with an issue scoring goals. Now we look like a dodgy defence with an issue scoring goals. Midfield ain`t much better.

Keelye - Orient player of the season. highly rated. Now lets in near post shots
Lonjwik -only got him due to injuries - highly rated
Mengi -outstanding in the premier league
Anderson, Barnsley player of the season at this level
Wells- 10 goals last season mainly from the bench
Yates - 10 goals last season in the championship
    Fanne - Very highly rated

Not going to go through the whole squad. But it is a group of players who on paper should be outstanding. Instead we get players standing ball watching as a cambridge reserve gets a free run from a long ball. We get players who give the ball away on the edge of the opposition area, and breakaway goals scored. All season.

Its a bit piss poor all round. Are these players overated ? short on confidence? or has a largely new squad of players inherited the issues of la seasons squad.

We looked more like scoring in the PL than we do now. MB when he came in said the obvious issues were we didnt score enough and conceded too may. Now we have that issue at a lower level

Dare I say it’s in part due to the fact that any criticism of the club and its decisions over the past 18 months, basically since December 2023 have been censored or laughed off.

Whether this be arrogance or loyalty to what came before.

We are all fans after all but some of the decision making since PL promotion has been questionable.

I think we are now seeing the many poor decisions manifest themselves into pretty much a crisis.

Had we had open debate sooner maybe the fan base could have raised genuine concerns rather the perception of either burying heads in the sand or a “we know best” attitude.

Fucking hell if criticism of the board was censored this place would have zero posts at all.

        You’re deluded.

Yep, it’s ALL because some posts were deleted on a messageboard visited by a small percentage of the fanbase

I think it is a mixture of confidence completely shot, a number almost certainly pissed off and don't want to be here, a number of players on the way down/legs gone plus demoralized as players aren't stupid and know the squad is totally unbalanced. Good players do not necessarily make a good team. We are a number of players short in key positions to become a team. Even allowing for all this, there is no defending players not putting in effort and not being able to consistently pass to their own team.

We will be nearer relegation than promotion. Bloomfield was the scapegoat, other heads should roll

Longwijk wont be offered a new contract at Wolves. He's not lived up to early promise.

We have 2 forwards who if they hit the heights of last year will score 20 goals between them? Not good enough.

Longwijk is a poor player, had Bloomfield not been here, neither would he.
