    Around 18 monrhs ago, driving down Broadhall Way, going past the Chav's little model village stadium thinking to myself 'at least we'll never have to play in there again'..!

    I already have a sense of inevitable inigmony come 5pm Saturday..

      Just seems we have gone off the rails a bit on the field. The biggest worry for us is having a PL level stadium but a L2 level team.

        If you are building a new stadium, you get one chance at it...
        You should build it to be suitable for where you aspire to be, and that is (as I think everyone would agree) the Championship/PL.
        Granted if we're still in the 3rd tier by then, that is going to dampen down the excitement of the move, but I can live with that, given 2020 have made the right decision on design/capacity longer term.

          I agree with you but at the end of the day the "buzz" of the Stadium will be gone after 6 weeks - the real buzz comes from success on the field and we can't fall too far behind other ambitious clubs in that regard

        I remember the Harford Stevenage game and how that really turbo-charged the nutters even though they had an excellent team at that level that year.

        Could be the same Saturday is my worry.

              And to be honest the current OTT attacks on 2020 are poisoning the whole thing.
