Saturdays beer

Seen some talk of Luton fans not allowed in town centre pubs, remember this a few years back as well as the Herts fisters panic and clear us out so wouldn't be surprised. Is this confirmed though? Having to get there quite early so wanna find a pub, CBA with walking round the centre for couple hours. Very weird place. Anyway, any pubs that we KNOW are taking away fans?

Watford Stevenage super firm will be out in force Saturday but no doubt it'll be at Biscot mill.

Drink in Hitchin and get a bus or cab

If you are drinking in Hitchin Town center then by time you have got to the train station and then train to stevenage and then got to the ground from stevenage station you might as well just get a cab direct, especially from somewhere like the Half Moon in Hitchin. We use to get a cab to "our Mutual Friend" in Stevenage, is only a few mins walk from the ground and always has away fans in there.

It is a bit of a trek from the town centre but there are boozers closer to the train station. The Millstream (I think it's called) and The Anchor are about 10 minutes walk from Hitchin station

if you are staying close to the station then yeah fair enough but those aren't the greatest of pubs compared to whats in town.

No, true
Hitchin town centre's pubs are alright. Or, at least, they used to be. Haven't been there in years

The other factor is if its just you or not, when we do the cab from the half moon there is at least 4 of us so works out cheaper and easier than the train.
