You are missing the point.
He uses graffiti to get his messages over, he challenges and provokes conversation that needs to be had.
Whether you agree with his standpoint or not he should be commended, freedom of speech and expression are being suppressed and everyone should be concerned.
Tories,Labour,and reform are all trying to shut down discussion and freedom to protest. The journey leads you to the answers..

I'm with you. Not everyone appreciates or understands art. The removal of the work will possibly be even more symbolic. I feel sorry for those that don't get it.
You don't even have to agree with the message to understand the power it possesses.
The fact that we are talking about it here is also the point!
When did we last discuss Van Goghs Sunflowers for example!?

Van Gogh is just another artist . You can discuss all, or nothing of his work. Does that make Banksy better, or worse, or indifferent? Was Constable thinking of the working man and his struggle to survive, when he painted the hay wain? Or was he simply painting a scene?
