Cameron Humphreys wasn't involved today for Ipswich despite Kieran McKenna suggesting he was still part of his plans earlier in the week.
Humphreys would allow us to play 4-3-3.
I wonder and I hope we have retained our interest.

Why do you think he would allow us to play 4-3-3? I’d say we’ve already got the players to do that, and it’s a quality LWB we lack for the current 3 at the back formation.

Bramall would work as a back up plan and Nigel is a centre half. Square peg, round hole yet again
We need 2 quality, specialist full backs brought in. We need to get serious and stop making do and mending

I don’t disagree about Bramall, but that’s who Bloomfield has chosen to sign, so in terms of left-back, I guess he’s our best option.
Going 4 at the back would allow Alli to be used as a winger/wide attacker, which is going to cause the opposition problems. (Hopefully!)

I agree with us setting up with a back 4. I just think we are woefully short of what is required at full back to play a 4 at the moment
Got loads of centre halves that need keeping happy too

We need something for sure. To be fair you have been correct over the terrible transfer strategy if such a word is appropriate. We managed to downgrade whilst spending more than ever. What we now have is a frustrating situation where there's too many in some positions and not enough in others. The selection policy is also getting a bit weird too. Walsh and Nordas have been poor so far
