The stats also back up your view, the 16 shots and 61% possession as the away team they had is damning.

Absolutely A team that's also had a lot of players in and out in the summer, including the manager, they've managed to bring in decent lads and have a very good crop coming through their academy, they played us off the park first half.

We're a mess at the back at times. Walsh was awful first half, how he wasn't hooked at HT I don't know. Then he fucks about leading to the goal.

We lack creativity, with no one on the bench able to offer any when they come on.

Our summer business has again been shit, and we're being found out. This is going to be a long season.

Yes they did. Their keeper was excellent.
That said, I think it was our best performance over 90 minutes this season. It's a low bar admittedly. We won't play many better than Cardiff this season.
It is glaringly obvious our forward line is poor.
6 games and not one goal from them.

Cardiff were by far the better team. For a start they can pass to their own team.

We created the most chances but that doesn't disguise the fact we were outplayed for the majority of the game.

Absolutely. Funny how both us and Cardiff were in similar positions having come down but they look miles ahead of us.

Close game I thought, just needed us to score first which would have changed the game direction.

We created chances, which is usually one of our problems.

Defense mostly good and strong but also prone to 'panic' mode and players overcrowding. Long balls over the top still creating problems for us.

Cardiff definitely the better team regarding cohesion and structure, which we need to work on.

Cardiff three shots on target and scored. Luton 7 shots on target and not a sniff. We are shit and Cardiff did the job. Got what we deserved. Don’t score you don’t win.
