Interesting from Bloomfield on transfer speculation

Looks like the players most would want to see leave might well do so.

I'm not sure - he did sort of indicate that there might be interest in players that have already been playing for us this season.

That could of course be Woodrow or Holmes, but equally it could be Alli, Fanne or Makosso. I also wouldn't be surprised if there was now interest in Andersen.

Not much in there to suggest any more incoming if and when we do ship out two or three.

"We don’t want to carry too many numbers through the winter months as I don’t want players feeling like they’re miles away from the team if they’re not in it."

Hmmm. This article does solely focus on expected outgoings so we'll see I guess.

MB noted that there will be ins and outs by the time the window closes.

Also the statement you quote applies to players he wants to be part of the squad and able to contribute.

Why retain anyone who isn't pushing for a first team place.

          Yes, agreed.

Just wondering how things will shape up.

Be bloody glad when the window closes TBH, when everyone knows what we’re working with for sure.

"I don’t want players feeling like they’re miles away from the team if they’re not in it" could, very, very, easily mean 'they know who they are, they're not playing and they're not going to, they may as well fuck off'.

It could very, very, easily not, but it could.

Hope Marv goes ASAP - nice bloke, great whilst on loan, disaster signing

Mengi - sell as sadly his heart does not appear to be in it or was not in it at least

Chong - probably in a minority but hope he stays, has been massive let down but we need some creativity up front, maybe we will finally see it

        +1

The current injuries might be a blessing, as I can't see many clubs forking out what we'd demand for any of these.

Mengi and Chong, with their heads in it, would be two of the best players in L1. I expect them to stick around and prove me hopelessly wrong

        All hail, glorious leader.

With Nakamba it may well sadly be a good one for all concerned.

Mengi, as we've said on here many times, if he was up for it he could be immense in this division but the "if" there is huge and should probably be in flashing red neon. So probably best if he goes . . .

Chong, well there's the thing, no rumours and again if he was up for it he could make a decent impact.

We probably need to lose at least two of the three financially.

B think Mengi has posted on Instagram that he is keen to play and help the team

Nakamba doesn't look fit enough for anyone else to sign him. The way he looks and moves when I've seen him recently reminds me of when Kevin Nicholls was trying to come back in the Conference when his knees had clearly gone.

Will never forget that goal against the Bin Dippers. I personally don't think he is anything special and I'm not sure he would make an impact at another club. I can see him going abroad.
