Woodrow was in the squad yesterday so I guess that kills all roomers of him going. would cancelling nakas contract be an insurance thing so doesn't technically cost the club , it may do, but I don't know. If he's got a year or 2 and given hes slightly broken.
Izzy will make an impact as perhaps Chong but not sure on the others will be more than squad players

Anyone see the Sunderland show? Jack Rodwell on Megabucks when they dropped the leagues, refused to leave, took the money. Can't see our goons on big bucks getting anywhere near that wage now, why would they leave that salary?
Sadly, I reckon we're stuck with most of them on the whack they're on til contract expires.

It's not the players "fault" theyre on big deals. Be mugs to drop the wage value for a year. May as well see out the daft contract they got 2yrs or so ago.

You can’t cancel a footballers contract unless he’s in breach of it in some way. You can come to a financial settlement, you’d still have to pay his loyalty bonus though which will be considerable

I assuming it’s because U21 loans in the EFL don’t count, they did in the Premier League I think, not sure about the Championship.
If so there is no need to sell if you wanted to add 2-3 quality young loans from the leagues above??
