It feels like he’s improving, although slowly. Maybe, just maybe, he’ll turn out to be a useful player in a month or so.

I reckon last 2 appearances have shown that he is adapting to this sort of football. MB has shown faith and is being rewarded with a lad who is clearly working hard being a target man. Been unlucky last 2 games could of had 3 goals by now.
Once a striker gets that initial goal they tend to do well. Same could be said for Yates.

I agree, I think both will keep improving. Yates does a lot of dirty work, leads the press well, he hasn't really had any chances to miss yet. Nordas was always going to need time to get used to the speed of the game here, he does strike the ball well. The journey leads you to the answers..
