    Reading between the lines

Posted by Cuba on 17/8/2025, 20:09:11

Ipswich’s striking plans are in disarray as their expected target Azon is now staying at Como.

AAH is reportedly now injured with calf injury but regardless I can’t see Ipswich letting him go with a striker shortage themselves.

Azon getting done was the trigger for AAH to become available.

I guess this makes MB’s demeanour more understandable, with less than two weeks to go we likely need to look for Plans B, C and D.

Chill your beans mate, I very much doubt he was ever coming here.

We've gone from being told it'll be 'an exciting window' to now 'lowering expectations'

Getting stressed about it won't change a thing. I had my moan last night. Now I'm just back to being 'meh' about the club and everything about it.

On the upside, I'll save myself money next Saturday.

I am still of the belief the club have the intention of backing the manager in the next two weeks.

If AHH is less likely we are going to need to find someone as good plus an Aassgard replacement and another left sided player.

My expectations won’t be lowered, but if that is really our new mantra a fair few will be looking for alternative Saturday afternoon entertainment 🙁

Why waste energy and time reading between lines and second guessing what might be going on behind the scenes. What happens happens but please try to lower your expectations to avoid disappointment.

“please try to lower your expectations to avoid disappointment”

Is that the club’s new mantra?

Unless alhams head has been turned by playing against Stevenage and loosing , what an incentive.

I really hope we show some fight against Wigan
