    Personally

After the past couple of years I get people's frustration, and I certainly get the frustration of players played all over the place, and out of position.

But it's a new squad, a huge turnover of players (needed) and the club needs to be sensible with finances after last season's fuck up.

I'm all for being patient for now. Fingers crossed for a good performance on Tuesday.

3 games in and I think it reasonable to say we have only performed up to our potential in 1 of those 6 halves of football.

It's early days yes, but we need to gel quickly and continually playing players out of position will not hasten that.

True, but with injuries (and unbalanced recruitment) there was no way I can see that we could have put out a team with 11 players in their best positions. Can you suggest a line up? We didn’t have a single full back or wing back available.

At least play them on their preferred side. It was clear against Wimbledon Lonngwijk thought his left leg was for standing on only. Why give him another opportunity to prove it.

Hopefully he can take a 50% cut in wages until he learns to use the left leg.

It is. For me the main frustration is the inability to purchase the players we actually need and thus avoid playing players out of position.

Going into that match with a squad with only a single recognised striker is pretty bonkers. Also wondering why nobody from the press thought to ask where Woodrow was….

And as further below, losing Bell, Johnson and then Alfie and then signing a single replacement who is not fit and who has been out of contract twice in the last year.

We have money to avoid that kind of scenario.

Big week ahead, I just hope MB was bluffing when he said no recruitment imminent.

As already said, it’s the LWB position I find most mystifying, it must be that the lad we’ve brought in will be a back up to a Prem loan we’re bringing in or something like that, it’s the only rational explanation. We got relegated because Alfie got injured and we didn’t have adequate back up and we don’t appear to have learnt

We got relegated because we were fucking shite, with no balls for a fight, not because some overweight, couldn't give a shite wingback got injured,to good to go down and all that bollox.

Second half last week we played ok. Now I'm not suggesting we were world beaters and Posh were shite. But we showed good control of the game.

We will lose games and it is up to the squad and coaches to sort it out.

I"d just like to see our fan base show some resilience. Our promotion team from the conference took a few weeks to warm up.

As long as we are there, or there abouts at Christmas...😁

This is a much better way of saying what I was thinking. Resilience and facing out at the enemy - opposing players and Fans, the FA and the football league, the referees. The players have a massive part to play in getting the crowd excited but the crowd has the responsibility to make it hateful for the opposition, not make our own nervy

Agree no need to panic after 3 games but MB has to make his mind up on best 11 and formation

The thing is, it is not only 3 games, it's been going on all last season as well. It has become the norm to play players out of position, play a system not suited to some. Does MB actually want some of the players that have come in? Does he have any input into the purchase of players? One thing for sure it has become a dog's breakfast the way the playing side of the club is being run.

MB had a very settled 11 for the last ten games of the season.
