That Hyde game was pay on the gate and we were given a "cloakroom ticket" when we paid. I haven't looked at the link so it might be mentioned but I remember Alan West being a special guest at the game between "his two clubs" as he was born in Hyde.

Yes, me and Mrs RADSB were number 5 and 6 - they they had a fold up table outside the away end. "Where's the turnstiles" I asked. 'Eee by 'eck, we're saving up for them lad"...I might have enhanced that part.
We were down the side and the ref and lino's were warming up in front of us. I shouted "rubbish ref" and he looked up quizzically so I said "You're warming up, so am I." They laughed. Mr J.C.
