anti Sweet and board posters

Perhaps if you're successful you will drive Sweet ,Wilko et al out of the club. They could sell out to a foreign owner like Chansiri at Wednesday. Be happy then would you we might have an initial season of success before it goes completely belly up. What short memories some of you have.
You wont hear from sweet,as he wont talk to us peasants. We are only the bread and butter of the club, buying tickets, food, progs, merchandise etc and lining the ceo and directors pockets. And in the unlikely event he did say anything,it would only be BULLSHIT.
You seem to have a bee in your bonnet today, perhaps football isn't for you? No one has said Sweet should be booted out, but he does need to step down as CEO because he cannot handle the workload. Power Court is gaining pace, and the amount of work needed for that is probably taking his eye off the real earning structure of the club which is of course, Football. Unless we improve, that stadium will be half empty by the time we move in.
I actually feel for Sweet in a way. He worked hard at what has happened over the past 15 years but the stress of what has happened must have taken its toll. Unfortunately it's always the CEO that takes the brunt of the grief but that is business. The same way he was happy to be interviewed for Sky TV etc in the PL he also needs to see that something is seriously wrong and address it.
All people want is transparency and actually know what is going on at the club.
Maybe not on here, but head over to the lunatics on farcebook and it won't take too long to find some. Live justly, love mercy, perpetuate generosity, walk humbly.
Don't you understand he doesn't make all the football decisions, there is a board and recruitment team team that the manager has a massive say in. So why all the personal attacks it is not very clever.
I think the board would look a whole lot better if they came out and explained what the problem's are. We have had directors leave over the last 18 month's. If Gary just came out and explained what the current struggles are I think we might just be a little bit more understanding. There have been many of embarrassing situations from kit's to contradicting information from club members. Fan's might come across sometimes as being a bit dim but I think we can all tell when something isn't right. I have read from lot's of poster's that communication needs to improve. Well it isn't improving. When 2020 took over they promised transparency and I feel they delivered on that but they seem to have lost their way a little bit. I think think they can turn this around if they want to and Gary is the man if he feels us Fan's worthy.
Honestly. Really is pathetic how we use a club like Sheffield wed or Morecambe as a benchmark to the criticism the board, especially Sweet gets.
You think those in charge aren't susceptible to criticism, especially lately? They absolutely are. The place has turned rotten to the core In what was a solid club. Its a mess. The eyes off the ball. It's clear.
But to then say at least were not Sheffield weds is ridiculous. Let's all settle for 22nd in league two then shall we coz at least were not Sheffield Wednesday.
Just had the biggest pay day in the clubs history and we're getting battered off the park by a league 2 club who scraped promotion.
Get real.
The board needs the pressure and criticism and much more criticism to the CEO. it's his watch, he lapped up the good. Where is he for the bad? Pathetic.
100%. They'll have been custodians for 20 years at that point and none of them will be in the first flush of youth. No problem with that at all.--------------- One mental rabbit, there's only one mental rabbit
I'm a loud mouthed miserable cunt that goes home and away. Unlike yourself.
We're the richest we've ever been in our history, yet we've got a squad of freebies and rejects, Stevenage are top of our league and there's only 2 divisions in between us and Bedford Town ffs.
respect for the home and away following, i used to when not playing but cant walk far these days. i just want the club to be united again and dislike personal attacks on someone who has done so much for OUR club.
For the love of Futcher. Sweet has obviously done a great job and seems to be doing superbly getting Power Court done. But he’s also massively stuffed up the footballing side since Jan 24. He appears too arrogant to let someone else run that, and comments implying that we either let things carry on as they are or automatically face becoming a basket case like Wednesday or Morecambe help nobody. Recruitment has been consistently poor for too long. Given our current transfer surplus, creating a DoF type role to maximise resources and aid the recruitment side is at least a valid idea. I don’t want Sweet ridden out of town on a monorail. Nor do I want the squad to limp along as a disjointed ragbag for another season. And that, currently, is at 2020’s door.
Since I can remember, every club that builds a new stadium has problems with performances on the pitch. Look at Everton the last two seasons. No matter how well run you are it takes a lot of finances and attention away from the team. Most have been wanting this to happen for their entire lives so unfortunately the new supporters we have gained in the last few years will have have to suck it up like the rest of us. They’ll be more great times and shit times which is why we watch football
Perhaps, then, that is telling us that the development side and the football side should be run completely separately. Give Power Court and the football the dedicated, separate focuses they both deserve, with separate management and governance structures
Everton have mostly been shit for about 20 years. Saying “Suck it up” is daft, given what we’ve had at our disposal and, yes, that does include allowing for PC’s costs. It’s precisely because of the extra time overseeing a stadium takes that Sweet needs to step away from trying to overseeing the playing side.
